Hever Castle - The Bed of Roses
I had a fantasic time shooting at Hever Castle on Tuesday for the unveiling of a rare portrait of King Henry VIII and the opening of 'A Bed of Roses' exhibition. TV Presenter Philip Mould OBE and TV historian Dr Jonathon Foyle educated the press and a small gathering of VIP's with the history of the bed and the painting. Listening about the meaning to the intricate carvings on the bed was fascinating and after the talk I even got to jump inside the frame of the bed where Henry VIII was possibly conceived! I love Hever Castle, I'm normally there shooting weddings in the building and the stunning grounds, it has to be one of the most beautiful castles in Kent if not the UK.
