A few days ago I shot several little street urchins and some nasty villains. Don't worry not in the literal sense, I was taking photos at the end of term production and all of the children were from the East Grinstead branch of the Stagecoach Performing Arts School

I took individual shots of each actor, where they showed their characters that were later to reflect on stage. During the rehearsals I thought they would never pull off the performance but to my surprise they did and they were excellent! So well done to all the children on such a great show, I look forward to next years production, whatever that may be ...

So as you can see, I don't just shoot weddings!

The past few weeks have been pretty diverse to say the least - rugby players, politicians, interiors, exteriors, models, dentists, weather girls and various gizmos and gadgets. I am so lucky to love my job, meet so many fantastic people and I'm still learning every day so can never, ever get complacent.

I work at a lot of rugby based events for Victor Ubogu (the one being accosted by the men in green hats)! Former Bath and England rugby union player, he now offers fantastic 5 star hospitality and travel at a lot the big sporting fixtures with his company VULtd. Ive been shooting events for VU for 10 years now and love working for them, I know the majority of the clients who now feel like good friends if not family. It can be hard work at times as I also print on-site but Im a...

Ian and Louisa (not Ann and Ian as unfortunately written in the magazine) appear in this quarters A Kentish Ceremony. It was a beautiful day and such a beautiful venue. I hadn't worked at Falconhurst before and was blown away by its beauty, the house full of grandeur and the gardens full of colour. The wedding had a vintage feel to it and the marque dressed to match the style with lovely old crockery and decorations. After the church ceremony drinks were served outside in the walled garden, beside the fountain. The guests were then served tea and cakes in the marque and then had a wander around the stunning gardens before the first dance.

I loved the gypsy style caravan and got some lovely group shots there and there were so many lovely spots around the grounds to shoot, if you would like to see more images from Ian and Louisa...

Its always great seeing your images in print, this quarters A Kentish Ceremony features two of my weddings I had the pleasure to shoot last year.

Pippa and Rich had really fun and quirky wedding, the more formal ceremony was performed at the beautiful Nettlestead Place near Wateringbury then on to Sam Neals Farm for the fun and frolics. Pippa was marrying Richard Puddle so they decided to call the wedding reception the 'Puddle Party'. And that it was because just as we arrived at the venue the heavens opened! And yes it rained and rained and rained! It didn't stop the fun though- rounders, sumo wrestling, fish and chips for dinner and an ice cream van supplied the pudding.

Pip and Rich's first dance was also unique, holding brollies and wearing wellies. The fun didn't stop there though as the barn dance began and everyon...

Thought I'd share another article in this months A Kentish Ceremony magazine. Penny and Chris held their ceremony and celebrations at The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells, one of my favourite venues. As I work there on a regular basis I know all the lovely staff and where the best locations are to capture great shots.

This months A Kentish Ceremony magazine features my lovely couple Linda and Alan who tied the knot at Penshurst Place. After saying their vows in the impressive Barons Hall we wandered off for a photoshoot in the lovely grounds. The wedding breakfast was held upstairs then down to the star studded marquee for the celebrations and to dance the night away.

I had a fabulous time shooting Ian and Kim's wedding at Hall Place it was a bit of a blustery day for the first day of summer but we didn't let the clouds and gales dampen our spirits. Kim arrived in a Ferrari and that set the stage for a very glamourous day. It was a small, personal wedding with lots of love and laughter and I heard some the best speeches in all of my years shooting weddings. Wishing you both a very happy future together!

I love being a wedding photographer but I also really enjoy my event work, Ive been working for VU Ltd

for about 8 years now. I first met Victor Ubogu on a charity trek to Peru, he'd just finished playing rugby for Bath and England and owned a couple of bars in London. He later set up his own corporate hospitality and events company mainly based around rugby events but also covers Cyclothon UK, F1 & tennis amongst other sporting fixtures. I've have shot for Victor all over the world at various tournaments in Australia, Hong Kong, Dubai, Rome & Paris. He has a clubhouse in Twickenham where we entertain up to 200 guests pre and post match, I'm the in-house photographer who's lucky enough to rub shoulders with sporting legends, TV and Film personalities. At the moment Im working for Victor at the RSB 6 Nations, here are a few images from the hou...

I had a fantasic time shooting at Hever Castle on Tuesday for the unveiling of a rare portrait of King Henry VIII and the opening of 'A Bed of Roses' exhibition. TV Presenter Philip Mould OBE and TV historian Dr Jonathon Foyle educated the press and a small gathering of VIP's with the history of the bed and the painting. Listening about the meaning to the intricate carvings on the bed was fascinating and after the talk I even got to jump inside the frame of the bed where Henry VIII was possibly conceived! I love Hever Castle, I'm normally there shooting weddings in the building and the stunning grounds, it has to be one of the most beautiful castles in Kent if not the UK.

Its always great to see your images in print. This months Just Weddings Magazine features my lovely couple Laura and Sammy who tied the knot at Leeds Castle in July last year. The day was full of colour, love and laughter as the children ran throughout the grounds. Their beautiful daughter Rose, managed to take a few steps down the aisle of the church to be there as her mum and dad made their vows to one another.
